There is always that possibility. Save the link for the odd chance that the problem might get fixed. I've ran into a few of these files and some times it took a long time but I got them downloaded eventually. Another thing you might try is another browser option. I have Firefox but I never really use it, just plain old Internet Explorer seems to work for me. Try something like that and see what happens. Accoring to the post on your link, Splue downloaded it successfully so you might get it by "going in through another door".

Tried a different browser (lynx, a text-mode browser that's great for use on questionable sites because it doesn't support all those whiz-bang features that make graphical browsers vulnerable to so many exploits). That got me past the 23MB "barrier," but the download still "completed" before the entire file was transferred. So, I tried a more aggressive download utility (not curl; I'll try that next time), which finally got it. When downloading gets to be like pulling teeth, I guess one has to go looking for a bigger pair of pliers. :) Thanks for the suggestions.
